This is a good phrase for the sake of argument.
But what the hell are we doing wasting our time with so many arguments that we have a phrase that establishes that things are for the sake of argument? Sometimes I just want to stop arguing.

I'm reading Kathy Griffin's book.
I do love her. It reads like one of her stand up shows which is cool as long as you’re not expecting literary enlightenment. Cause grrrrrl she halareeous.
About half of it focuses on her trudge through the industry. It reminded me that I might want to do this whole performing thing, and if I do then I need to go at it.

I read a novel called “Paper Towns,” and it snuck in some really smart stuff. There were just deep bits of relative but also universal life observations. Like I want to reread it right now and circle all those parts and then print them out and post them all over the world.
